How does the Pomodoro technique work?
The Pomodoro technique is a time management method that uses 25-minute focused work sessions followed by 5-minute breaks. This helps maintain concentration and prevents mental fatigue. After 4 pomodoros, you take a longer 30-minute break.
What kind of habits can I build during breaks?
During your 5-minute breaks, you can build small but impactful habits like stretching, drinking water, deep breathing exercises, or quick meditation. Our app suggests habits that perfectly fit your break duration.
Can I customize the timer duration?
Not at the moment! Currently we default to the classic 25/5/30 minute split, but we are working on adding timer customisation soon.
How does habit tracking work?
The app automatically tracks both your focus sessions and completed habits. You can view your daily progress and total focus time. We're adding more stats soon.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. Your data is stored locally on your device. We don't collect any personal information, and your habit and focus data remains completely private.
Do I need an internet connection?
No! Habit Focus works completely offline. While an internet connection enables features like data backup and sync, the core timer and habit tracking features work without internet.

Can I use my own music during focus sessions?
Not at the moment, but we're working on it. We provide a curated selection of focus-enhancing sounds and music, but you can also use any other audio app during your sessions.
